A Little Bit of Magic This is a 6-inch tall door at the bottom of a tree at Lake Harriet in Minneapolis. People of all ages leave around 1500 notes behind the door every year, and every single one of them is answered. Each reply ends with, “I believe in you.” No one has seen the elf, but he’s known as “Mr. Little Guy”

Rule 63 Han Solo

Apparently I need more scoundrels in my life… oof.

Is that… Argh, I can’t remember the actresses name, but she played Stupid Tall Hot Girl on the Guild? Riley? Michelle…. something. Michelle Boyd! I’m pretty sure that’s her.

I’m not entirely sure what the red stripes are for, and I’m not entirely sure I care.
eta: Oh, apparently Han had them. (Although I’d posit that if you can switch the very space-age blue jeans for black leather, you could skip the odd stripes too.)

Dinosoap. The main reason I’d ever have kids is to justify buying this sort of magic.

Oh this is excellent. (Although I can guarantee you the soap would be quickly destroyed in pursuit of the embedded awesomeness.)

It’s only 11 minutes, but they both sat through the entire thing without making so much as a peep. Afterwards, I launched into a mini-lecture with stories that ranged from Queen Elizabeth’s army service to Jeanne d’Arc.

How true this statement is to me is almost sickening. (Though I usually point to the lovely ladies of the Soviet Union during WWII, especially the snipers.)

From Wiki: “There was also concern that, in aviation, the female body is not as adept at handling the increased g-forces experienced by combat pilots; in fact, there is now evidence that the male body is less able to handle the g-forces than the female body: women are less likely to black out due to shorter blood vessel routes in the neck.”
Science.
(Plus women are shorter/more compact, on average, and therefore can fit and maneuver in smaller cockpits…(although technically they won’t be cockpits anymore.))
